Dear President Obama,

November 17, 2015

Dear President Obama,

The following steps (if you choose to accept the plan) will accomplish your intent for our country and avoid a Paris-type terrorist attack in America.  The money saved by using my plan will pay off the national debt, should you desire to do so…while allowing you to play more golf, and, as a bonus, you will be able to send Michelle and the girls on additional tax-paid vacations throughout the world.   The greatest benefit of my plan provides a non-threatening world (to government) due to voluntary submission to the powers that be (currently, ISIS).

To activate this plan you must:

1.  SET UP military at the following locations:
Banks, Libraries, Court Houses, and Churches

Next, the American People will voluntarily visit each establishment in compliance with the plan.

1.  Banks:  All Americans must empty savings, checking accounts, etc. at their local bank and hand cash over to the established one world bank.

2.  Libraries:  All Americans must gather every Bible and deliver them, along with all Christian materials (including CD’s, DVD’s) to the designated person at each local library.

3.  Court Houses:  All Americans must quickly confiscate guns from every home, business, and gun shop, quickly placing them at the feet of the militia assigned to their local town.  Your militia will be standing (with rifle in hand) outside the Court House.

4.  Churches:  All churches must relinquish control of buildings and assets … and immediately cease from holding services.  Church finances must be disclosed, assuring all balances are cleared and made available for government use.  Songbooks, sermon material, power-point presentations, and choir robes are to be piled in the middle of the parking lot and burned.  Altars (those that still exist) must be destroyed.

NOW, PRESIDENT OBAMA:  It will be much easier for you to establish Sharia Law (your family excluded) in America.  Islam can reign supreme.  Not to worry about social security, SSI, welfare, or healthcare, because all infidels will be slaughtered.  Population will be minimal and social restrictions unopposed.

Life will be simple.  Enjoy.

Still a Christian and Proud to be an American:

On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand....

On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand,  All Other Ground Is Sinking Sand

I glanced over the news headlines this morning and noticed a variance of events happening,  locally and worldwide.  Stressful, to say the least.

I'll list just a few of them:

1.  A champion teen runner disqualified after helping rival in medical distress
2.  A student forced to deny her faith or receive a failing grade
3.  Russian Ruffle, Putin's bombers buzz US carrier, Navy jets respond
4.  Anonymous says it will ID up to 1,000 Klu Klux Klan members
5.  Russia flying Iranian weapons shipments into Syria, sources say
6.  Suspect confesses to killing refugee child, rescuers search for victims of boat sinking
7.  China says it will use "all necessary" means to respond to future US patrols

I'm not sure the next one is newsworthy, but, understanding the state of our present government, I understand why it is included...

8.  Pumpkin Peril, Feds: jack o'lanterns can cause global warming.

That's just a short list of what is happening in our world.  Very short.  In the midst of all of this ruckus - I need a solid foundation in order to stand strong and function as a healthy person while in this life!  And, I found it !!

On Christ the Solid Rock I stand!!!  All other ground is sinking sand!  Yes, and Amen!

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

JESUS is my Supernatural Stone.  Forget everything else for a minute and focus on Him.  Focus on the faith that JESUS taught - it is profound enough to keep me established on this earth until He returns in the clouds to take me home to be with Him throughout eternity!

I Peter 2:4-9 "...Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ."

This anchors my values, solidifies my hope, and guarantees my eternal future in Heaven.  YES, ON CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK I STAND.... all other ground is sinking sand!
You were built to live forever!  Stand on that Solid Rock, Christ Jesus!

HALLOWEEN AND CHRISTIANS...

It's that time of year again.  And ... again I'm struggling with this particular holiday.  I read an article this morning on FB - "Should Christians Celebrate Halloween" and I'm still struggling.  Then I wondered, why is this holiday still alive in our Christian culture?
I believe it is because:

*  it's an industry, a money-maker
*  it's entertaining for parents and children
*  children see other children in costume & receiving bags of candy
*  churches use it for an "alternative celebration"
*  churches draw huge crowds on Halloween festivities
*  churches simply rename the event
*  adults (believers) would be viewed as "weird" if they opposed involvement

The article stated that there's no lasting benefit to ignore a holiday that exists around us ... but it also does harm to celebrate Halloween as it has originated and grown over the centuries....so, they suggest... Christians should be teaching children that evil is from Satan and there's a spiritual world filled with goodness from God - that christians have power over darkness....etc....

The author says that we counter the evil influence by joining together and celebrate the reality of heroic Christian saints ...and rather than 'hide' from this day, we should create a positive and uplifting alternative.  Make it heaps of fun!

How does the celebration affect or draw us closer to Christ or keep us in the highway of holiness?

Anton LaVey quotes:
"I'm glad that Christian parents let their children worship the devil at least one night out of the year"
"But the average person doesn't have that much imagination.  They just want to be entertained."
"Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years!"

Ouch! ....you may ask, "Are you saying that I allow my child to worship the devil on Halloween?" No.  But I am saying that we are keeping the holiday alive and the merchants prosperous.   It seems the holiday is not diminishing, but thriving, thanks to christians and churches.  I dare say that any pastor who refused to give observance on this day would be tarred and feathered by the holy saints on his pews.

I Thessalonians 5:21-23  "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.  22)  Abstain from all appearance of evil   23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be presented blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Prayerfully read Matthew Henry's commentary on these verses.

The doctrines of human infallibility, implicit faith, and blind obedience, are not the doctrines of the Bible.  Every Christian as and ought to have, the judgment of discretion, and should have his senses exercised in discerning between good and evil, truth and falsehood, Hebrews 5:13,14.

We must not always be seekers, or fluctuating in our minds, like children tossed to and from with every wind of doctrine.  Abstain from all appearance of evil (vs. 22).  This is a good means to prevent our being deceived with false doctrines, or unsettled in our faith; for our Savior has told us (John 7:17) "If a man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine whether it be of God."

Corrupt affections indulged in the heart, and evil practices allowed of in the life, will greatly tend to promote fatal errors in the mind; whereas purity of heart, and integrity of life, will dispose men to receive the truth in the love of it.  We should therefore abstain from evil and all appearances of evil, from sin, and that which looks like sin, leads to it, and borders upon it.  He who is not shy of the appearances of sin, who shuns not the occasions of sin, and who avoid not the temptations and approaches to sin, will not long abstain from the actual commission of sin.

I know....we are not blatantly or knowingly teaching our children to sin by dressing them up in a costume and bringing home a treasure of candy,  BUT.... DO CHURCHES:

* enhance the holiday
* fuel the industry
* deny evil
* present Jesus

NOTE:  Wicca proclaims this as one of their very special 'holy' days.

The Wiccan, Pagan and Witchcraft year runs from Oct 31st through Oct 30th

*  Oct 31st is Samhain - their 3rd and final harvest
*  symbols are: gourds, apples, black cats, jack-o-lanterns, besoms
*  the mundane laws of time and space are temporarily suspended and the Thin   Veil between the worlds are lifted.
*  communicating with ancestors and departed loved ones is easy at this time, for they journey through this world on their way to the Summerlands.
*  it's a time to study the Dark Mysteries and honor the Dark Mother and the Dark Father, symbolized by the Crone and her aged Consort...

Perhaps my problem ... my struggle with Halloween exists mainly because we still recognize the holiday ... as do the Wiccans ... and, I'll admit, I am suspect of just how much Truth is actually taught to our children during the celebration.

Yes, I still struggle with this ...

Why Society Hates the Ten Commandments

In the dark of night and under tight security, men worked secretly to remove the Ten Commandments from the Oklahoma state capitol grounds.  According to the AP, the state paid a contractor $4,700 to remove 10 "Thou Shalt Nots", which were given to Moses by God.  Obviously, our society now has a huge disdain for anything written by God.

A 4,800 pound piece of granite, 6 feet tall and 3 feet wide, costs about $1 per pound to remove from state grounds to a conservative think tank, The Oklahoma Council of Public Affairs offices, just blocks away.

Why does our society hate the Ten Commandments?

The answer to this question is best described from a Feb. '07 article: "Why liberals are right to hate the Ten Commandments" by, Michael Medved.  Go to townhall.com and search for the article.  You will appreciate his view on each of the Commandments.

Medved states that in the last five years alone, the tireless fanatics  of ACLU invested tens of millions of dollars and countless hours of legal time in lawsuits to rid states of the Commandments.  States as: Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Montana, Georgia, Iowa, Washington State, Nebraska, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Florida.  Recently Dixie County, Florida was not cooperative.  The ACLU failed to proceed with litigation because they couldn't find a single (not even one) resident to lend their name as plaintiff in the law suit!

I am listing three of my own reasons the Ten Commandments are so despised by our society.

1.  These are God's Laws.

The Ten Commandments reveals sin, shows us that we are all guilty, stops us in our tracks as we justify a sinful life and lastly, these 10 laws will lead us to Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Savior.

2.  Our society refuses to hear that they are sinners.

This could prove they are guilty of abortion/murder.  They would have to hear that homosexuality is a sin.  Idolatry would convict them.  Taking God's Name in vain hits between the eyes.  Adultery, stealing, liars, coveting.... ah,  this is hard to digest for a sinful society!

America is busy protecting and promoting the Gay society, even to the point of punishing businesses who refuse them service.  Schools are beginning to indoctrinate our children with Islam and deny everything Christian.  Allegiance to our country, our military is a reproach to liberals. Our freedom of expression is in danger.

3.  Our CHURCHES have replaced the Ten Commandments with HYPER-GRACE.

a.  "Sin" is a rare word from the pulpit.  If listeners are offended with sermons on sin - they might withhold tithes and even leave the church!  Heaven forbid!
b.  "Righteousness" isn't popular.  Leaders/workers in the church are not called to accountability and are leading carnal lives.
c.  "Hell" is not a popular subject.  Yet, Jesus taught on hell more than on heaven.  If you teach on hell - then you could be in a position to lead them in repentance.  This makes the people uncomfortable!  Stay away from this topic!
d.  Sexual immorality / drunkenness - and loose living is preferred.
Preachers deliver sermons 'to please the listener' and not offend their sinful lifestyle.   So, sermons are designed to make people feel good about themselves, comfortable in church, give them a present/future of wealth, health, and prosperity.  Just leave out the Ten Commandments when you mention the blessings of God!
e.  Repentance / deep conviction is a no-no.
How long has it been since "conviction" swept over a congregation, bringing people to their knees before a Holy God?  How long?

SADLY, our society wants everything to do with Jesus Christ removed from our nation.  BUT THE GREATER TRAGEDY is that many of our churches are following their leading.

Matthew 3:1, 2  - In those days John the Baptist came to the Judean wilderness and began preaching. His message was, Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.    (New Living Translation)

The Mission and Message of John the Baptist as he came from the wilderness was to Repent and Turn.  Have we lost the Mission and Message of John the Baptist?  Yes.

The Ten Commandments... one by one...exposes an irreconcilable conflict with the deranged, anti-christ, dysfunctional philosophy/choices of those in America who choose socialism and accept Satan's lies over Truth of the Word and Righteousness of God.  Their hostility makes perfect sense to them.

LET'S GET BACK TO THE MISSION AND MESSAGE OF JOHN THE BAPTIST:   REPENT for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

God help America, please!

SHE IS IN JAIL...

A christian took a stand.  And now she is in jail.  Kim Davis, the clerk in Kentucky, was arrested by U.S. Marshals at the order of Judge Bunning.

What is her crime?  She didn't want her name on marriage licenses issued to gays.  You see, when a Christian is forced to do something that is blatantly wrong - that is an abomination to God (and we know it) - it grates against the spirit and gives us no peace within.  We just can't do it.  Kim couldn't do it.  So, she stood her ground.  Thus, she is jailed for her religious convictions.

Is she the first?  Probably not.  Who is next?  You?  Me?  Will we stand for right?  Or, will we cave to our politically correct guards?  Who knows.

As one FB post listed:

1.  Planned Parenthood violates federal law - Nobody is arrested
2.  Sanctuary cities ignore the law - Nobody is arrested
3.  DOJ runs guns to Mexican Drug cartels - Nobody is arrested
4.  IRS illegally targets conservatives for audit - Nobody is arrested
5.  Hillary Clinton lies, deceives, violates federal law on classified information - She is running for President
6.  Obama ignores the Constitution - He's not arrested

But one lady refuses to issue a marriage license to a gay couple and she goes to jail.  How can she accommodate a law which doesn't exist?  Only Congress can make the law - not the judges!  We have five godless judges forcing their opinions, immorality, and political preferences down our throats....and tell us to like it and line up with their lawlessness or go to jail.

The first words after the Preamble are these:  "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives."  If ALL legislated powers have been vested in Congress, how many legislative powers does that leave for the Supreme Court?  None, zip, nada, zilch.    To paraphrase Martin Luther King, Jr., an unjust ruling is no ruling at all.

Some of our 'leaders' and politicians, mayors, should be required to face the music for their lawlessness!  Start with our president and go on down the line!

I have to wonder what would happen if a Muslim, a Buddhist, or Hindu refused to perform a job function because of their religion?  Bank on it, they would have been applauded and accommodated.   When will Musims be held to the same rules?  Will they be required to bake a cake for gays?  A Muslim clerk at Target has a sign directing customers to get in a different line if they are buying pork.  Why is she not forced to serve all customers as well?

The great German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote: "Silence in the face of evil is itself evil:  God will not hold us guiltless.  Not to speak is to speak.  Not to act is to act."

We must not remain silent.   To do so is to allow the America we once knew slip right through our fingers!

WHY ARE YOU ANGRY?

Whoa!  I'm not angry!  I'm a Christian!  It's only righteous indignation!  I'm just unhappy!  It's not my fault if life upsets me!  I haven't sinned ... I didn't cause this ... it's unfair!

Unknowingly ....  unknowingly ... anger is at the root of many of our undesirable emotions ... stealing our one opportunity at living as a happy person on this earth!

If I told you that you (we) are sinning (this hurts me, too) you might throw the nearest heavy object, aiming for my head!  We DO NOT like to be told that we are sinning!  In fact, we do not want to come face-to-face with even one fault in us.  Most of us have our salvation down 'so pat' that a minute tinge of threat to that salvation sends us into a tailspin.   Our defense mechanism kicks in and we could tear a lion in half with our bear hands while claiming to be Christ-like.

This is an excerpt from Laurita's comment to a devotion about 'sin' ...

A friend reminded me yesterday about a prayer group that had invited me to come share my experience in recovering from all the illness and debility in my life, which was my testimony. I had agreed, and had started out walking them through the steps that I had taken to get to my freedom. Well, we made it through the understanding that healing is for today, and that it is a consequence of the restoration of relationships. We talked about accusation and how to recognize it and how it opens the door to the rest of it. We made it through a discussion on bitterness, which is the chronic state of unforgiveness, and got all the way to the point in the Lord’s Prayer where it talks about forgiving others as a precondition to us being forgiven by God, and the whole thing came apart. I mean, the whole room rose up. When I asked what the problem was, almost all of them, protested that they felt that their salvation was being challenged; and they all went into fear. No matter how I approached it, they could not deal with it. If their salvation was going to be conditional upon their ability to forgive, then they didn’t want to hear it. I didn’t get invited back.

Note an important sentence: "... almost all of them protested that they felt that their salvation was being challenged and they all went into fear...they could not deal with it...they didn't want to hear it."

If you find yourself unhappy, frustrated, and even angry (although we don't want to admit that it's anger...we'd rather say: frustrated)  there could be a lot of different things happening below the surface and that's what you really need to figure out.

We usually put our reaction/response on automatic pilot. Usually, when something happens (however insignificant it is) the first emotion felt is anger so we just go with it and don't really think about it. By taking the time to understand where the anger really comes from will be eye opening. You'll learn so much about yourself and you may start to let some things go.

Here is another 'real people' comment to the same devotion.  This one is from Marsha:

One day about 20 years ago I shocked myself at how angry I’d gotten when I was cut off in traffic. I’d never done that before! “Wow.” I asked, “Why did I react like that?! I’m shocked.” As was often the case it was about 2 weeks later while driving down the same busy street coming upon a line of traffic I clearly heard (as though not a moment had passed between my question two weeks ago and now), “Because you feel held back.” Whoa. It was like a curtain had been pulled back from the hallway between my heart and mind and light came in. That is EXACTLY how I feel in the deepest part of me – I was in total awe. I’d like to say that ended the days of my road rage but it did not….I DID try harder..remembering my truth but if the perfect storm came together so did I. Years past with victories and defeats. Gradually, over time I began to accept HIS ACCEPTANCE of me – I began learning how much it meant to Him for my life to be fulfilling and purposeful and how much He really loved me….each of us as individuals. One day…certainly after a length of time that I should have now conquered that anger at silly drivers…one poor unsuspecting soul crossed the line. Without a thought I glared over at him and shook my head at “his stupidity”. In an instant, without a second in between He asked very simply, “Why do you keep bowing to that idol?” WHAAAAT?!! I know EXACTLY how a balloon feels when all the air is let out-humbled doesn’t even begin to cover it. “I’m bowing to an idol?!” Suddenly it was all very clear…that thing I must have considered too important to let go of...had become a god…and each time I had given in to the anger I was worshipping that idol. The reality set me free.

An overworked mom who was also caring for nieces once said to me:  "I only have one life to live and it ought to be better than this."  She was right!

Life offers opportunities to react/respond in the natural - with emotions, words, and thoughts that are harmful.  How can we NOT become angry at the smallest things said or done?

Skip Moen's devotion:
...ultimately the goal is to identify those basic steps that lead me to sinful actions so that I can avoid the steps before I get to the unstoppable end. Perhaps instead of fighting to exhaustion those unstoppable ends I would be better served by examining what happened before I was no longer able to control the outcome. Each time I do this, I back up until at last I see the path before it even becomes a choice—and I choose another way.   The key to righteous behavior is to divert the causal connections before they reach the explosive edge.

"Why are you angry?"  If you answer something like, "I'm so angry because my friend didn't do what I told him to" you're not digging deep enough. The other person is just a trigger for your emotion.

Jesus Christ came to give life and that abundantly.  You only have one life to live and it ought to be better than this!  Start digging ... clean out the cause of your anger ... it's buried somewhere in your spirit.

Pray this scripture:

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

IS HELL A REAL PLACE?

A few days ago a member of my group, End Time News, entered this question in the comment section of a post:

Is Hell a place or the absence of Heaven?
Just like there isn't cold only the absence of heat
and no darkness only the absence of light.

This is a honest question.  One I could not easily dismiss.  Perhaps you or others you know ... have asked the same question.

Hell is not just an issue, or a topic, it is a place.  A very real place.  Jesus spoke about hell more than heaven.  Yet, it's a subject we are reluctant to discuss.  This explains it well: "There are those who claim to be preachers who don’t ever talk about hell, wouldn’t talk about hell, avoid it at all costs, when the truth of the matter is, it ought to be the first thing that we talk about when we talk about the gospel. This is about salvation from hell.”

I.  HELL IS REAL

It is a real place, prepared by God for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). Hell is a reality and it is a place where unrepentant people go at death.

Hell is a place to avoid. Mark 9: 43, 45, 47 plainly says that if your hand, your eye, or your foot offends you - then cut them off...because it's better to enter life halt or maimed, rather than having both hands, two feet or even two eyes and be cast into everlasting fire.

Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

II. HELL'S LOCATION

Isaiah 14:9 "Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming:  it stirreth up the dead for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; ..."

"So far as we can tell from Scripture, the present hell is somewhere in the heart of the earth itself.  It is also called "the pit" (Isaiah 14:9; 15; Ezekiel 32:18-21 and the 'the abyss' (Rev. 9:2) ..   The great 'pit' [hell] would only need to be about 100 miles or less in diameter to contain, with much room to spare, all the people who have ever lived, assuming their 'spiritual' bodies are the same size as their physical bodies."  (Henry M. Morris, The Bible Has the Answer, p. 220)

III. HELL'S ENVIRONMENT

It's a place of outer darkness - a place of torment - a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth - a place of loneliness, a place without the presence of God.

It's a place of everlasting fire, punishment, and chains.  It's a place of eternal damnation and judgment.  The remorse, pain, sorrow, and shame will be overwhelming.  You will cry out, but no one will answer.

It's a place where there is no hope and there is no way of escape.

IV.  HELL'S INHABITANTS

Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels - but - it is a place where  unbelievers will spend eternity ... without God.  God does not send His Children there.  He has no children in hell.  Those in hell made the choice to reject Him as Father.

John 3:36 " He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

V.  HOW TO ESCAPE HELL

Acts 16:31 Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved....

Romans 10:9 -That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Acts 22:16 - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Dr. Rawlings, a devout atheist, wrote a book entitled, Beyond Death's Door. In 1977 he was resuscitating a man, terrified and screaming - descending into the flames of hell:
"Each time he regained heartbeat and respiration, the patient screamed, "I am in hell!" He was terrified and pleaded with me to help him. I was scared to death. . . Then I noticed a genuinely alarmed look on his face. He had a terrified look worse than the expression seen in death! This patient had a grotesque grimace expressing sheer horror! His pupils were dilated, and he was perspiring and trembling — he looked as if his hair was "on end."
Then still another strange thing happened. He said,"Don't you understand? I am in hell. . . Don't let me go back to hell!" . . .
the man was serious, and it finally occurred to me that he was indeed in trouble. He was in a panic like I had never seen before."

(Maurice Rawlings, Beyond Death's Door,
(Thomas Nelson Inc., 1979) p. 3).

The answer to your question is YES, there is a Hell.  It does exist.  You don't want to go there.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

I pray you will give your heart to Jesus Christ today.  He is faithful and just to forgive us for our sins.  Jesus has gone to prepare a place for us in glory with the Father - and He's coming back again to receive us unto Himself.  When the trumpet sounds we will be raptured....we are going HOME.  And it will be soon.

Where have I been? and ... A new Banana Pudding recipe

Franks Eddy Feeding Program
Where have I been?  I certainly haven't been blogging... and I've missed it.  I have been busy in Belize where Tommy and I serve as missionaries.  Well, I follow him around mostly!  But:  the Lord has allowed me to assist Cecilia in seeing her vision come to pass.

Cecilia is a pastor's wife in Franks Eddy Village.  She wanted to provide lunch for the 15 - 20 school children across the road from the church.   Because of donations from folks - we have been able to provide and establish this feeding program.  Oh yes, I must share with you:  They named the feeding program after me.  Humbling !!  Yes!  I'll share a photo about this.

Cecilia, pastor's wife, Franks Eddy Village
An Arkansas team came to Belize in April to complete the new church for Cecilia and her husband, Eli.  They built picnic tables for the feeding program and added on to their house.  So now, the old church is set up for the children.  You should see Cecilia cook on the fire hot.  Oh, my goodness, that food is good!  I watched closely to learn from her.

We arrived in AR the end of April. We drove to Springfield to attend Tommy's granddaughter's graduation from Evangel College.  Jenel excelled and the entire family was proud of her....and on that same day, my granddaughter's baby arrived 7 weeks early - it was quite an eventful day.

Now, I'm in Arkansas and Tommy is in Belize!  I stayed here to assist family.  He will return July 2nd.  We are on the go most of the time!  When he returns from Belize, I anticipate a very active and 'on the go' summer.

September 15th we will return to Belize (after Jenel and Evan's wedding) and hopefully, our plate will be full again and we will watch the Lord work in behalf of his people in that country!

That's where I've been!  And perhaps now there will be time for blogging.  I want to share a new recipe (looks easy) with you for banana pudding that I recently found...and I'm hoping to try it soon.

BANANA PUDDING FROM SCRATCH

1 (14 oz) can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 1/2 cups of Cold water
1 (4serving size pkg.) of instant vanilla flavor pudding mix
2 cups (1 pint) Whipping Cream, whipped
36 vanilla wafers
3 med. bananas, sliced and dipped in lemon juice concentrate

In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and water. Add pudding mix; beat well. Chill 5 mins.

Fold in whipped cream.

Spoon 1 cup pudding mixture into 2-1/2 quart glass serving bowl.

Top with one third of the wafers, bananas, and pudding.

Repeat layering twice, ending with pudding.

Cover and chill.

Have a great life!
